Photo Drop lets you upload photos you’ve already taken — from your camera roll, a folder, or another device.

When to use it

  • You took photos at an estate sale but didn’t use the app at the time
  • Someone sent you photos of books they want to sell
  • You have existing inventory photos you want to associate with books

How it works

  1. Tap Photo Drop on the Add page
  2. Select one or more photos from your device
  3. Each photo is processed through the same AI identification pipeline as Quick Snap
  4. Review results and save to inventory
For best results, each photo should show one book clearly — cover, title page, or copyright page. Shelf photos should go through Shelf Scan instead.
