2. Add your first book

Click the Add tab in the top navigation.

Quick Snap (Recommended)

Take a photo of the cover, title page, or copyright page. AI identifies the book.

Barcode Scan

Point your phone at the ISBN barcode. Works for post-1970 books.
For Quick Snap:
1

Tap Quick Snap

The gold card on the Add page.
2

Take a photo

Snap the title page or cover. Copyright pages work great for old books.
3

Review the result

AI extracts the title, author, publisher, and ISBN (if visible). Confirm or edit.
4

Save to inventory

The book appears on your Inventory page with status Acquired.

3. Value the book

Open the book from your inventory and tap Value. The system searches eBay and AbeBooks for comparable listings, then AI estimates a price range based on real market data.

4. Ask Lexi

Go to the Lexi tab and ask anything:
  • “What’s my most valuable book?”
  • “Show me everything I added today”
  • “Update the condition on [book title] to near fine”
See the Lexi Chat guide for the full list of things Lexi can do.
